Overlays and Colours
The ``Overlays and Colours'' panel is used to turn various overlays
features on and off, and to set the colour in which to display them.
It may be invoked from the ``Overlay Colours'' entry of the ``Options''
pulldown menu on the main GCPWorks control panel.
WARNING: There have been problems observed with the use of this panel
before reaching the GCP collection stage. This artifact causes GCPWorks
to core dump. It is therefore advised that users avoid modifying
anything on this panel until they have reached the GCP collection phase.
Accepted GCPs
The display of accepted GCPs may be enabled, or disabled using this
control. This affects all accepted GCPs on the overview and subwindows
and for the uncorrected and georeferenced images. The default colour
is red.
Check GCPs
Check GCPs are shown in blue by default, and their enabledness and
colour may be controlled separately from the Accepted GCPs. This
affects all check GCPs on the overview and subwindows and for the
uncorrected and georeferenced images.
Transformed Vectors
When tying down to vectors, it is possible to control the colour in
which the first vector layer is displayed using this control. This
colour is applied to only the first layer of those loaded using the
``Select Vectors'' step. The rest cannot be modified. The first
vector layer in the Georeferenced Overview, Georeferenced Subwindow and the
transformed vectors displayed in the Uncorrected Subwindow will all
be modified. The default colour for the first vector layer loaded
is red.
It is also possible to disable the display of the tiedown vectors
in the Uncorrected Selection subwindow using the On/Off toggle control.
This does not disable the display of the tiedown vectors in the
georeferenced windows.
Mosaic Cut Lines
If a mosaic cut line has been defined using the ``Select Mosaic Area''
step, it is normally displayed in all images windows, by default in
yellow. Using this control, it is possible to change the colour, or
completely disable the display of mosaic cut lines. This is often
useful when previewing mosaic boundaries, in order to provide a
clearer view of the border area between registered and original data.
Sampling Rectangles
When the user is performing the ``Colour Matching'' step of radiometric
correction, it is necessary to display a sampling region subrectangle
in the uncorrected and georeferenced overview windows. This control
may be used to change to colour of the displayed rectangles from their
default of red. It is not possible to disable the display of the
sampling rectangles, though they will disappear when the ``Colour
Matching'' step is exited.
Cursor Colour
The colour of the cursor in each of the image windows can be controlled
with this option menu. The default colour is yellow.
